Welcome to our 24-7 Week of Prayer 2025!

Facilities

The Chapel

This is a beautiful and sacred space open to all. On Pukeroa Hill, the Chapel is on land gifted to the people of Rotorua by Te Arawa for wellness – a wonderfully appropriate place for us to pray for the wellbeing of ourselves, our city, our country, and our world. The Chapel is a working space with an office attached, so some people may come and go during working hours.

Safety

Security personnel are onsite and cameras operate 24 hours a day. Entry to the Chapel in the day from 8 am - 8 pm will be through the double wooden exterior doors of the Chapel, with parking nearby. At night, from 8 pm - 8 am entry will be through the hospital, entering through the main doors and being escorted through the hospital.

Parking

Parking can be a challenge. We expect to have two carparks right beside the Chapel during the day. Other parking is in the main car park, across the road from the Main Entrance, or in the Mental Health car park nearby. For a group we recommend car-pooling. Parking at night will be easier, and we can park in the p15 parks within the turning bay outside the main entrance.

The main carpark closes from 12 pm - 5:30 am.

Refreshments

Tea, coffee and drinking chocolate are available to make yourself a hot drink. Bring your own cup or use the disposable cups provided. There is also a cafe at the hospital open weekdays from 7 am to 6.30 pm, and 8.30 am to 6.30 pm on weekends.
